Major improvements are being made at Stay Plugged IN and the esports community will soon be able to reap all the benefits the platform has to offer. In the meantime, SPIN will be offering free gaming tournaments on a weekly basis with a prize pool.

These free gaming tournaments will officially kick off in the new year, but the team at Stay Plugged IN was so excited about the new offerings, that we planned a preview week for mid-December. Games will include Rocket League, Valorant, and Rainbow 6 Siege, with the possibility to add additional titles later in 2022.

Beginning with Rocket League on Tuesday, December 14 players can face off in a double-elimination bracket. The action continues on Wednesday evening with Valorant, and then the week concludes with a Rainbow 6 Siege tournament on Thursday. Each game has a $100 winner-take-all prize pool and is free to play.

Register for the free gaming tournaments:

Turbo Tuesday: Rocket League

Road to Radiant: Valorant

Breach Weekly: Rainbow 6 Siege

Competing is free for players, however, registration is required by noon on the day of the event in order to participate. Teams will register together, and any free agents can connect with other players via the SPIN Academy discord server to form a team. Rocket League will consist of teams of three, with the other two games requiring five players to complete a team.

While there are plenty of exciting things in the works at Stay Plugged IN that will be announced in the near future, the addition of free gaming tournaments provides esports players with an incredible opportunity to hone their skills while building their portfolios. Additionally, these weekly tournaments will encourage gamers to make new connections within the esports community while developing life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication.

In addition to the weekly tournaments, Stay Plugged IN offers a variety of recruiting events for high school gamers to compete in. To learn more about upcoming events, visit our events page.
